If you are obsessed with luxury fragrances then this post is a must read! I’m sharing with you my signature scent – Kilian Love Don’t be Shy. This is a well known popular fragrance that is often allegedly said to be a favourite of Rhianna. It is a gourmand fragrance that is a part of the floral family – warm florals to be exact. The top notes for this scent include orange blossom, vanilla absolute, and luscious marshmallow. It is often described as a warm sweet scent that is gently laced with a touch of sensuality thanks to the addition of amber.
From my experience, I find this to lean strongly towards the gourmand fragrance family as opposed to the floral family as initially described, because the scent pulls towards more of the warm notes of vanilla and marshmallow as opposed to the fruity floral scents that have been included such as rose and gardenia. The floral scents, in my opinion have been added as a way to subdue the sweetness of the fragrance – therefore making it a beautifully well balanced gourmand feminine scent that is not too sweet, and wears as subtly sensual.
