Hi beauties! I’m sharing with you how I make Becca Ultimate Coverage Longwear Concealer in Latte work for my deep rich black skin tone. I had purchased this concealer from Sephora online and unfortunately I ordered a colour that was way too light for me. Determined to make it work I decided to keep the concealer and see if I could actually make it work.
Becca Ultimate Coverage Longwear Concealer is described as a full coverage, water-resistant concealer that helps to camouflage dark circles under the eyes, provides a smooth finish, to hide fine lines, diminishes the appearance of pores and is long lasting. From my experience, it’s a light weight thick consistency that is non drying and does not feel heavy on the skin. It offers a natural finish and blends seamlessly into the skin.

When using shades that aren’t a perfect fit for you I’d suggest you start slow – apply a little at a time, then consider including similar shades for a better match. I choose to use L.A. Girl Pro Conceal H.D. Concealer in Toast. To ensure that my look stayed all day long I set it in place with Laura Mercier powder in Translucent Medium Deep.
I really enjoy this concealer; the consistency is full coverage and thick and easy to use under the eye simply by misting a blending sponge to help spread it out evenly (I used MAC Prep and Prime Setting Spray). What’s also great about this product is that it works well with other concealer products and with powders. It feels lightweight under the eyes and lasts for a few hours.
