Hello fellow skincare lovers! I’m sharing with you my experience of using Humanrace Skincare. Over the past few months I’ve been using this skincare collection and have been enjoying it. Humanrace Skincare was developed by Pharrell Williams. He released a three-minute facial routine pack. This facial system includes 3 steps to achieving the ultimate skincare experience in a fast and simple manner.
The routine pack contains all of the products required for the 3 – minute at home spa facial
Step 1: Rice Powder Cleanser
The rice powder cleanser is a finely milled powder cleanser that includes rice powder, kaolin clay, fruit AHAs, snow mushroom, and geranium. When water is added to the rice powder, it begins to foam up a bit to provide a soft lather. It’s formulated to give your skin a healthy pH level of 5.6, all while removing excess face oil, makeup, and daily environmental debris. With the addition of kaolin clay, this product also claims to help detoxify and purify skin. I found this product to be gentle to use on my skin; it provides a bit of a spa experience thanks to its unique texture and high quality ingredients. When using this product I found that it is a bit messy to use; if you are not familiar with using a loose textured face wash it takes a bit of effort to use it in a way that does not leave a mess all over your arms and sink counter. After rinsing off the face, my skin does not feel stripped or dry. Rather, it feels soft, gently exfoliated, clean, and smooth.
Step 2: Lotus Enzyme Cleanser
The lotus enzyme cleanser is made with 8% glycolic acid, 2% fruit AHAs, pumpkin, papaya, enzymes, and other great exfoliating ingredients. Before getting into the full review I must share that this is definitely my favourite product out of all three products! This cleanser is the softest, most hydrating, comforting cleanser I’ve used on my face to date. It is a rich cream cleanser that easily dispenses onto the skin. Once water is added it foams up to provide a great lather. It’s formulated with a pH level of 3.6 to help support skin renewal (removing dead skin cells). I found this cleanser to be one of the most gentle ways to exfoliate my face without irritating the skin. After rinsing my skin feels soft, hydrated, and moisturized.
Step 3: Humidifying Cream
The humidifying cream includes hyaluronic acid, snow mushroom and squalane. It’s formulated with a pH level of 5.4. It is a very rich and moisturizing cream. I find that it glides on easily onto the skin and soaks in quickly without leaving residue. My skin definitely feels hydrated and moisturized after use.
Using each of these products helps you to achieve clean, fresh, soft, moisturized skin. Typically, I’ve been using Humanrace Skincare products at least once a week and up to two times a week. What’s great about this collection is that it’s refillable; once you’ve used up all the products keep the product container that it comes in and order refills. A great eco-friendly idea!
