Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream in Fenty Glow, let’s talk about it! The latest release by Fenty Beauty hit the beauty community a few months ago and made a lot of noise. Fans of the brand were excited to try it out; especially since the original gloss bomb formula provided everything that was needed in a great glossy formula (shine and moisture). This Gloss Bomb edition is different because it’s a cream. It claims to provide the same shine, and moisture but now with more pigment thanks to its creamy formula.
From the 5 shades released, I choose to purchase the universal colour called Fenty Glow. This is described as a rose nude shade that is suitable for all skin tones. It’s said to have full coverage and should leave a voluminous effect without any shimmer (as the original formula has a lot of glitter in it).
As you can see the packing for this product comes in the standard Fenty Glow lip gloss bottle. The applicator tip is also standard of Fenty Beauty lip glosses, a nice large doe-foot applicator. The shade is a beautiful nude soft rose colour that will be perfect for all occasions. When applying the gloss it went on effortlessly and glided onto my lips. From my experience, the colour of this gloss did not quiet transfer onto my lips like I had hoped; from my experience it looks like a sheer lip gloss. I tried applying a few coats of the product and unfortunately the colour did not show up on my lips.
The formulation of this shade is very sheer against my skin tone and looks like a clear gloss. Also, I found that after a few applications it started to run a little bit all over the place on my lips – even into my mouth! I think this is due to its thinner consistency when compared to the original gloss bomb formulation. Check out the full first impression of this product on my YouTube video below!
