How to Make Protein Pancakes

Hello fellow health and fitness enthusiasts! Today I’m sharing with you one of my absolute favourite breakfast meals to make; protein pancakes! This recipe that I’m about to share is so simple and delicious to make yet is healthy and keeps you nice and full for a few hours.

Ingredients for protein pancakes

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana

1 egg

1/2-1 tsp of vanilla

2 tsp chia seeds

1 scoop protein powder of your choice

Coconut oil to cook

Toppings of your choice!

 

Cooking Instructions:

  • Place ripe banana in a bowl and mash it up (I use a fork; keep it simple!)
  • Add egg to bowl with mashed banana and whisk both ingredients together
  • Add all other ingredients to the bowl (vanilla, chia seeds, protein powder) and mix
  • Add a pan with about 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and heat on stove-top (typically, I make these  pancakes on medium heat). Add  protein pancake mixture to heated pan. Flip it over to the other side once bubbles start forming. Cook on the second side until pancake it a nice golden brown and cooked all the way through on the inside.
  • Eat and enjoy with your favourite topping!
