Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant

Hi beauties! I don’t know about where you live but here in Toronto it’s hot and humid. Summer is officially here and I love it 🙂  My plan is to smell fresh all Summer 2019!

Thanks to Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant I’ve been smelling so fresh and so clean all day thanks to their latest deodorant that is aluminium free, dye free, and clear upon application. To top if off, the scents that they have in this collection are so well made (daylily, honeydew, and rosewater). I’ve been using this product consistently for the past 3 months and I’m glad that it’s a part of my beauty collection.

This year one of my goals was to incorporate more “natural friendly” ingredients in by beauty routine. I specifically wanted to try deodorant products that don’t contain aluminum because it prevents toxins from being expelled from your body due to the strong barrier it creates once applied (it clogs your pores so you don’t sweat; sweating is important for releasing toxins). Personally, I don’t mind the sweat — I just don’t care for the stink that comes from sweating. lol!

I tried using deodorants with baking soda in them and broke out horribly in an allergic reaction. After I healed, I made my way to my nearest drugstore to find alternative deodorant options. I’m glad I choose this one! I haven’t reacted negatively to it, the scent lasts for a really long time, and it really does go on clear (even on my dark skin). As you can see from the image above, my current favourite scent is  daylily. I’ve already repurchased the honeydew scent multiple times and I’m looking to try out rosewater scent.

TIP: to stay smelling fresh all day apply this product more than once. Personally, I apply this twice a day for a long-lasting fresh scent. Also, this may or may not go without saying; if you keep your underarms hair-free it’s a little bit easier to keep your underarms smelling fresher longer.
