Pat McGrath Labs Mini LUST Lip Gloss Trio

Hi beauties! My current lipgloss obsession is lipgloss. As the weather slowly changes into warmer temperatures, I’v been transitioning my makeup to be a little bit lighter — including my lip products. Goodbye lipstick and hello lipgloss!

During my recent Sephora spring haul (check it out HERE). I purchased Pat McGrath Labs Mini Lust Lip Gloss Trio set in Skin Show-Cool.

Pat McGrath Labs Mini Lipgloss

L-R: Pale Fire Necter, Dare to Bare, Divine Rose

Each shade has been uniquely developed to add a hint of glam to your lips. I would describe each gloss as the following: Pale Fire Necter is a bold vibrant glitzy pink with lilac and hot pink shimmer and glitter.  Dare to Bare is a beautiful nude gold gloss that is slightly metallic in nature, and Divine Rose is a rich dusty rose-shade gloss with a hint of gold shimmer.

Each of the 3 tubes contain 1.6ml/0.5 fl. oz of product with a soft doe foot applicator to apply the product.

All shades glide on effortlessly on the lips. These are all thin, non-sticky glosses that are moisturizing and slightly pigmented on the lips. From the swatches you can definitely see they are packed with a lot of glitter and shine! Thankfully, the glitter is milled so fine; you don’t feel it on your lips!

The way this product translates on the lips may differ based on the shade of your lips. I have pigmented lips, with that being said these shades do not show up as pigmented on my lips as seen swatched on my hand upon first swatch.

Personally, I have to build up the product if I want the shades to show up the same way they appear in the bottle. With that being said, I have no problem with these glosses. I love them even though they don’t appear as boldly on me. Personally I love how they look on my bare lips and they are the perfect topper for lipsticks too. The longevity of these glosses are as expected; as soon as you eat or drink something you’ll have to reapply because it transfer off quickly.

Let me know in the comment section below what lipgloss shade is your favourite to wear!
