Beauty Low-buy in 2019

Hi beauties! As part of the new year, I’ve decided to commit to a beauty low-buy. Notice how I said low-buy and not no buy!

What’s the difference between a low-buy and no buy?

• Low-buy, to buy less than. It doesn’t mean that you completely stop the purchase of an item(s)
• No buy, not to buy an item(s)

In an effort to save some extra money, and to also use what I have, I’ve decided to not buy as much beauty products this year.

A new year brings reflection; for me it also means deep cleaning my beauty stash. As I was going through my stuff, I realized that I have a lot of it. I love all the products that I’ve purchased over the years but honestly, it’s A LOT. I actually want to use the items that I’ve purchased because I do like them. I can’t have the opportunity to use my beauty items if I’m always buying more.

With that being said, I’ve committed to a low-buy of beauty products. I won’t buy as much or none at all in 2019. Below is the list of items on my low-buy list.

• Lipsticks and lipgloss
• Highlighters
• Foundation (liquid and powder)
• Nail polish
• Concealer
• Perfume
• Eyeshadow
• Mascara
• Lip liner
