Essie Mint Candy Apple

Happy manicure Monday! This week I’m sharing my most well worn shade this summer; Essie Mint Candy Apple. 

I’ll admit, this is an unexpected favourite of mine. I never knew that I was a fan of baby blue nail polish until I swatched this shade for the first time. Essie describes this nail polish as a light green mint shade. Notice how they say mint. On my skin tone this shade pulls more of a blue shade hence why I’m in awe of it. In the bottle I can see hints of green but once applied to my nails that seems to disappear and I’m left with notes of baby blue.

Besides the cool colour-changing effects on my nails, what I also like about this nail polish shade is it’s wear time. This polish lasted on my nails for a good 4 days before little chips began appearing on the tip of my nails. It had longevity which is always a great feature for any nail polish shade.
