Current Anti-aging Skincare Nighttime Routine

Hi beauties! I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my skin these past few months and it’s about time I share with you what I’ve been using!

Currently, my skincare routine is simple. I don’t have the time to spend more than 10 minutes for my daily facial care so I’ve found a few products that have quickly become staples in my skincare collection!

The products that I’m currently loving to keep my face looking youthful are:

  • Aloe vera facial bar soap and charcoal facial bar soap. I wash my face twice with these products. Depending on how my skin is feeling at the end of the day I switch between the aloe vera and charcoal face soap. Aloe vera helps to put moisture back into my skin when it’s feeling dry and charcoal provides gentle exfoliation properties to my skin whenever it’s feeling congested. On some nights I’ll use both soaps to get the best of both worlds!
  • Pixi Glow Tonic is my current obsession. This is hands down one of the best toners I’ve used to date! It contains glycogenic acid which is known to help gently purify and exfoliate your skin. This product also contains aloe vera  and is made without alcohol (this helps to keep your skin moisturized).
  • Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum is where I’m giving extra credit to helping reduce the appearance of dark spots on my face! This serum is known to help brighten the appearance of your skin, boost collagen (important to keeping your skin plump) and also contains moisturizing properties thanks to hyaluronic acid and aloe vera (notice a trend? 😉 )
  • The Ordinary Retinol in 0.5% Squalane is the final step to my nighttime skincare routine. This product is known to minimize fine lines, even out your skintone, and provide a youthful appearance to your skin.  I use the lowest percentage (0.5%) to prevent any skin irritation (such as dryness) as Retinol is known to cause irritation if your skin is sensitive.

Let me know in the comment section what your favourite skin care product is at the moment!
