Post Vacation Body

If you’re like me, when your vacation is over and done with and you look at yourself in the mirror after days of eating, drinking and being merry, your post vacation body may not be something you are comfortable with.

Personally, I just returned from a week and a half trip from Brazil. I didn’t workout once, hardly drank my usual gallon of water, had many alcoholic drinks, ate very few vegetables and whole lot of carbs. Basically, I did everything that I normally don’t do when trying to maintain a sound diet.

I’m excited to get back on track! I’ll be getting back into my normal health and fitness routine and will definitely be focusing on a well balanced healthy diet.

The Plan:

  1. I’ve decided to use the well known fitness app called ‘MyFitnessPal’ to help me track what I eat. I’ve been using it for a couple of days and it has been an eye opener to my eating habits. (More on that in a future blog post).
  2. On top of focusing on my eating habits, I’ll also tailor my fitness goals to full-body HITT routines and at least 30 minutes of cardio at least 4 times a week.

As always, I’ll be documenting my journey on social media (both Snapchat and Instagram @ simplyeseeri).

Let me know in the comment section below, how do you get back on track after a long vacation?

xo,

Eseeri
