Late nights and early mornings. To combat my lack of sleep this summer I have been using REN Vita Mineral™ Active 7 Eye Gel to help minimize my puffy and tired looking under eyes.

Packaging and Product Description

REN Vita Mineral™ Active 7 Eye Gel comes packaged in a slim sleek white cardboard box with the product description surrounding it. The actual product is packaged in a white, firm, seemingly steel-like container with a white cap that you lift off. The active 7 eye gel is dispensed once you push on the top of the product. The gel is clear in nature. You get 15mL (0.5fl) of product.

This product is described as a concentrated gel that helps to reduce and sooth the appearance of puffy under eye bags and dark circles, leaving your eye area looking firm. It is formulated without synthetic ingredients such as the following: parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.

Performance

REN Vita Mineral™ Active 7 Eye Gel is light in formula and texture. When I first applied the product, I noticed how light and cooling it was. The gel easily glides onto the skin and is quickly absorbed under the eye. I appreciated how there was no sticky feeling or residue felt under my eyes after application. My under eyes felt smooth and moisturized.

I’ve been using this product for a few months and what I’ve noticed so far is that yes, REN Vita Mineral™ Active 7 Eye Gel does help to minimize puffy eyes; the gel is cooling and it gives a temporary effect similar to placing slices of cucumbers under your eyes to combat puffy eyes. With that being said, I think it’s best to use during the warm season as it is light in texture (as opposed to the winter season when your under eyes may need a richer moisturizer).

One of the best ways to use this product is to place it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to get the gel a bit cold and then apply it under your eyes. You will definitely feel that your eyes are brightened and awake!
