Fall

Tis the season to bring out richer lipstick hues. Deep red, berry and nude shades are currently all the rage. A few weeks ago I was invited to the first ever Ankra African Print Brunch event hosted by fellow Toronto blogger of The Afro Fusion Spot Miss G. Attendees were encouraged to wear something of African descent to highlight various African styles. As you can see, I wore my Ugandan inspired earrings. For my makup look, I wanted it to be fresh, flirty and bold. On the day of the event, it was very cold yet the skies were clear and bright. I wore an eye opening soft purple eyeshadow look with a brick red lipstick with berry undertones.
