Bareburger

If you’re looking to try a delicious organic meal, I highly suggest you stop by a Bareburger restaurant. Bareburger recently opened its doors in Toronto, Ontario January 2015 and has been operating in the U.S. since 2009. As mentioned, bareburger offers organic meals; their menu ranges from varying red meat burgers (such as beef and wild boar) all the way to turkey, chicken and vegetarian burgers. You can also find various salads and side order dishes to choose from.

I choose to try out the buttermilk buffalo sandwich; a buffalo fried chicken on a brioche bun topped with bleu cheese, buttermilk ranch dressing and green leaf. I ate my meal with a side of onion rings and an Arnold Palmer to drink. This was one of the absolute best fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time! Upon the first bite; your teeth sink into the soft melt in your mouth dough of the bread. Immediately after you feel the crunchy coating of the buttermilk chicken followed by the juicy flavourful chicken that has been topped with the sharp flavour of the blue cheese complemented by the creamy buttermilk dressing. All of the flavours complemented one another; I found this to be a very fresh tasting sandwich that also had a bit of spiciness to it (which was not overwhelming at all, just a nice complement to the sandwich profile as a whole). The onion rings were coated in a hard shell with seasoning. I have never had onion rings like those served at Bareburger and let’s just say I am obsessed with them! They are large, crunchy and delicious to eat! I didn’t even dip them in any sauce as they were so good to eat on their own.

Bareburger is a restaurant I highly encourage you to check out if you are a burger enthusiast like myself. I will be going back to try other items on their menu.
