The Beginning - IG

I will admit, I’m a gym enthusiast. I’m one of those people who happily eats healthy food to make sure I can see the results of my workout. I’m one of those people that if I could, I’d wear stylish cute workout clothes 50% of the time. But the reality is, I can’t be in the gym everyday.

The Beginning

As many of you know, life and other stuff get in the way of maintaining a regularly active fitness routine. I made a commitment to myself to be more consistently active for 2015. One of my main goals was to go to the gym before work. That way, I could start my day off right by accomplishing my fitness goals first thing in the morning. Plus it ensures that I have no excuses to not working out. So far so good. It’s been about 2 months since I began my morning fitness routine and sometimes its still hard getting up at 6am to be at the gym for 7am. But now, its been incorporated into my weekly schedule and I no longer give myself the choice of not going.

I’ve even gotten into at-home workouts. They aren’t my favourite but they are convenient to do at times. Currently, my body shifts from looking muscularly toned to just defined. I’m in the process of trying to make it look consistently muscularly defined. I don’t want a lot of muscles, just enough for me to see results as a constant bit of personal encouragement.

The older I get, I realize that I’m not only exercising for aesthetic purposes, but also to maintain my health. My progress has been great; the biggest improvement is that I feel more energized in the mornings. I look forward to sharing with you some simple fitness tricks I learn along the way. I know that for some, exercise is not the most appealing thing to do but I love it and am always intrigued to see how other people keep fit. If you’re on a fitness journey too please share!
