Not so Pink

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day 2015 I thought it was only right that I go all out and use the colour pink as the focus of this makeup look. Is it weird if I say I feel like a 90s Barbie? For this look I wanted to make sure all the main elements of my makeup were doused with pink.

I tried to complement the pink eyeshadow by adding accents of purple and a bit of gold and silver eyeshadow. I lined my waterline with a nude eyeliner to brighten up the look. Three layers of mascara were used to make my lashes look full, long and flirty. For my blush, I opted for a soft pink muted look so the focus of the makeup could be on my eyes and lips. On my lips instead of putting on a solid pink lip colour, I thought it would be cool to create a slight ombre pink lip by using a fuchsia lip liner and a pale pink liquid lipstick in the center. This is a super fun girly look that I enjoyed creating.
