Hi beauties! Happy Manicure Monday! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted my manicure but we are definitely going to get back into it. If you’ve been following me for awhile on my social media platforms you’ll know that I’ve been on a journey when it comes to my nails. When I first started blogging, I’d do my own nails at home, however, I’d experience my nails breaking, my nail polish chipping after one day and not having my cuticles look good (yes that matters)!

I then decided to start getting my nails done professionally. I’d gotten acrylics applied and then a gel polish applied on top of that. I absolutely loved the look but I wasn’t fond of the commitment. Having to go to the nail salon every 2-3 weeks to make sure my nails looked great all the time was not fun. (My nails grow fast).

I stopped applying acrylics and then decided to start doing my own nails at home and I’ve been loving it! My nails look good all the time and I love the option of being able to switch up my nail colour at any time. Currently, I’ve been eyeing the latest nail polish release by Essie. These colours are great to wear during the spring season as they are a perfect mix of dark, neutral and pastel shades! The two colours that I’ve currently obsessed with are Perfect Mate and Pass-port to Sail.
