I love pizza and I cannot lie! No, seriously, I love pizza so much! Last week I had the chance to visit Blaze Pizza located near Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. Let’s just say I was not disappointed.

Blaze Pizza is a casual fast-food pizza restaurant that offers patrons various pizza pies to their liking. Each pizza pie is freshly handmade topped with your choice of pizza toppings. After assembly, your signature pizza is then baked in a hot oven at 180 degrees. It cooks so fast; it’s amazing!

To say I was impressed with the service and pizza that I received at Blaze Pizza is an understatement. Service-wise, it was a busy Friday night when my friend and I went yet we were able to be served quickly. The employees were kind and keen on providing us with a great pizza pie.

I ordered the meat eater pizza; loaded with pepperoni, meatballs, red onion, mozzarella, and red sauce. I added cheese, olives, roasted garlic, peppers and a whole lot of other vegetables. I loved the option of being able to add whatever you want to your pizza with no additional charge. When my order came up, the cook inspected it and deemed it not suitable for consumption because it wasn’t made to standard. Amazing. It looked pretty good to me, but of course he knows better. My pizza was immediately remade and it tasted delicious.

I’d describe the pizza I ate as a thin crust pizza that is crunchy on the outside with perfectly cooked dough on the inside. The amount of toppings they place is the perfect ratio; not too much or too little. The ingredients are fresh and baked to perfection.

I’d highly suggest visiting Blaze Pizza if you have the chance!
