FLARE x Hudson’s Bay Fashion Event

Last night I was invited to attend FLARE x Hudson’s Bay fashion event. It took place at the flagship Hudson’s Bay store in Toronto, Ontario on Queen Street. The event was hosted by Flare in collaboration with Hudson’s Bay and provided the best of both worlds; beauty and fashion!  Attendees got a sneak peek at the upcoming spring and summer 2015 collections, as well as being introduced to new Canadian fashion lines that can now be found at Hudson’s Bay. Models wore key fashion pieces so we could all see the fit and styling options of garments.

Most clothing pieces that caught my eye were either full of bold colours, prints, glitter elements and fringe or they were the standard black and white pieces (classic wardrobe staples). Personally, I was most excited over the accessories; you can never go wrong with a statement handbag or shoe! I found that most of the collections suited various body types and styling preferences; an attendee could find at least one item to fall in love with.

Another element of the event that I enjoyed was the unique styling of attendees. I always get ideas with my personal wardrobe when I have the opportunity to see how others creatively style their clothing pieces.

The Flare x Hudson’s Bay event was fun to attend because complimentary services were also provided; champagne and appetizers were offered throughout the night, including desserts. There was also makeup, hair and skin care stations for attendees to sample products such as NARS, Shu Uemura, and L’occitane. Each attendee was gifted with some sample size goodies from Shu Uemura which was a great gift. I really enjoyed myself; it was great checking out new and upcoming collections.
